ART SHOULD BE INCLUSIVE
Gallery Nagtegaal was, founded in 1983 by Hans Peter Nagtegaal and born from a desire to break down the barriers of elitism and to include people in the contemporary art world – whether they be enthusiasts, first-timers, new collectors, or seasoned collectors and institutions – we strongly believe that everybody should be able to enjoy the world’s most amazing art.
This ethos of inclusivity is at the very heart of our company, and our online gallery is 7 days a week open or you can visit us Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Hoofdstraat 120B, 7311 KJ Apeldoorn
ART SHOULD BE CELEBRATED
We are driven by our belief that the world’s most amazing work should be something to be enjoyed and celebrated. We strive to ensure that our visitors and our clients feel that they can truly enjoy the world’s most amazing art, in an environment that is pressure-free, exploratory, and exciting.
Art is fundamentally a human phenomenon, and we believe that it should be presented, enjoyed and appreciated in a genuine, human context. It should stimulate conversation, trigger emotion and spark inspiration…and our job is to facilitate an amazing experience, every time you visit.
ART SHOULD BE UNDIVIDED
We have always wanted to provide an art platform to showcase interesting work to the widest possible audience. We don’t believe that incredible work should be reserved for only the select few. We are strong believers in the power of online, and we use digital and social media to broadcast our art to audiences all over the globe.
Our art, is a broad range of different styles, ages, races, cultures and backgrounds. The common denominator between them all is undeniable talent.
